Frances Marie Tieman, Broken Arrow, OK, on Oct 1, 2022, went peacefully into the presence of her King
surrounded by her family.
Frances was born June 7, 1937, to her parents, Jess Nash, and Stella Nash (Jennings), at her family home
in Jackson County, MO where she grew up singing and playing guitar with her sister. She married
Kenneth Raymond Tieman of Corder, MO, on New Year's Day in 1959. They were married 61 beautiful
years and had 3 children together. While she worked for Automated for several years, her primary focus
was her family and taking care of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards,
and dominos with friends.
After Kenneth retired from Texaco, they built a woodworking shop together and made beautiful oak
creations. Fran and Ken traveled around the region attending craft shows and events until retiring again
in 2003.
Fran was always active in church, where she served by singing and help with children's church. Fran was
devoted to God and her family.
Fran was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Tieman, her parents Jess and Stella Nash, her
siblings Stella Lester (Nash), Alene Nash, Jess Nash, and Charles Nash and granddaughter Amanda
Fowler.
Survivors include her children Randy Tieman, Kendra Tieman, Shawna and Jim Keith, grandchildren Alicia
and Chris Whitaker and Brianna Dunn, great grandchildren James and Linkin Whitaker.
A Memorial service will be held Sat. Oct 22nd at 2:30 pm at New Beginnings Church 4104 E 151st St S, Bixby, OK 74008 for Ken (Jan 21,1937- July 18, 2020) and Fran Tieman ( June 7, 1937- Oct
1, 2022).
