Frances Theresa Tinston

With heavy hearts, the family of Frances Theresa Tinston announces her passing on January 15, 2026. She was 95 years old.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, to Mary Vitale and Michael Memoli, Frances later moved with her husband to Suffern, New York, in 1968. She remained in Suffern until her retirement in 2002, after which she moved to Allentown, New Jersey, where she lived until 2021. Her final residence was The Bridges at Bent Creek in Mechanicburg, Pennsylvania.
Her greatest pride and achievement was the family she and her husband created and the legacy she leaves behind.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Tinston; her parents; and her six siblings.
She is survived by her daughters: Mary Ellen Flaherty (Kevin) of Carlisle, Pennsylvania; Linda Quittenton (Bruce) of Mentor, Ohio; Judith Ferree of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania; Frances Lubov of Levittown, Pennsylvania; and Diana Tuysuzian (Steven) of Suffern, New York; as well as twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
