Frances P Toth

Frances Patricia Toth, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2025. Fran is survived by her son Jim Toth, his wife Quynh Lee, her daughter Maureen Aronow, her husband Michael, her daughter-in-law Diane Toth, her sisters Marguerite Barry and Suzanne Sexton, her grandchildren Bryan Toth, Michelle Aronow, Geoffrey Toth, Jennifer Aronow, Ryan Toth, and Tyler Toth. Fran was pre-deceased by her beloved husband George Toth, and her beloved son Thomas Toth.
Born on September 9, 1934, in Queens, New York, Fran was raised alongside her two beloved sisters, Marguerite and Suzanne. She pursued higher education at St. John's University, where she earned her undergraduate degree and years later completed her Master of Business Administration in Finance.
Fran shared a loving marriage with George for many wonderful years until his passing in 2004. Together, they built a beautiful life in Hicksville, Long Island, where they raised their three children, Jim, Maureen, and Tom.
A passionate educator, Fran worked as an Adjunct Finance Professor at St. John's University, where she inspired countless students with her knowledge and enthusiasm for finance. Beyond her career, Fran found joy in gardening, playing bridge, and mahjong.
Upon retirement, Fran and George moved to the North Fork of Long Island, settling in the beachside community of Cutchogue. They held many family gatherings during their time on the North Fork and Fran spent many cherished experiences with her grandchildren, whom she adored deeply. In her later years, Fran relocated to New Jersey to be closer to her children and continued to enjoy time spent with family and friends.
Fran's life was filled with love, laughter, and meaningful connections. She cherished time with family and friends, enjoyed celebrating with family during the holidays, and embraced new friendships wherever she went. Her warmth, wisdom, and kindness will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Visiting will be held in Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial, 7 Summit Ave., Summit, NJ on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 2-5 PM. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 11 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Mattituck, NY, immediately followed by the burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Cutchogue, NY.
