Frances Truelove Turnage

Mrs. Tornage taught me piano for six years. She was a brilliant pianist and beautifully trained in performance and theory. She was patient, exacting and thorough. Mrs. Turnage became friends with my mother. She was also organist and choir director at the Episcopal Church of the Messiahin in Rockigham, N.C. I sang in the church choir, and I have never heard a purer or sweeter soprano than Mrs. Turnage. I still love and admire her. Pamela Kirby Zick
