Frances Clair Knight was born on the nineteenth of February, 1960 to Harold and Murle Fletcher Knight, within the bustling confines of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Frances in her sixty-five years her spirit, filled with humor, and friendliness, touched the lives of many who had the pleasure of her company. A lifetime nanny by vocation, she nurtured many a child, becoming a part of their families and etching her memory into their hearts.

Leaving behind her three daughters, Brandy Morgan of Florida, Misty ReNea Vasta, and Amanda Rose Kiley; her sister, Rosie Knight-Colvin all of Temple; and her grandchildren, Eric Micheal Jonathan, Cody Wayne Conner Jr., Cadence ReNea Conner, Anz-lee Paige Kiley, Kee-yana Rose Kiley all of Temple, and Dewayne Morgan of Florida. Kyle Shafer and Cheyenne Geiken both of Gatesville.

Her close friends, Wendy and Robert Lowder, Linda and Larry Gilbert and Jason Geiken all of Gatesville.

She was preceded in death by one son Tony Eugene Vasta Jr. in 2019 and four brothers and two sisters.

Frances found solace in the belief that her loved ones who had passed were ever near, symbolized by the cardinals she so adored. "They are the spirits of my ancestors," she would say with a twinkle in her eye, a testament to her enduring connection to those she held dear.

Her interests were as varied as the many lives she touched. An avid reader, she would often be found engrossed in a book, transported to worlds beyond. Yet, she remained ever-present, a constant figure at Kyle and Cheyenne's school and sporting events, her cheers a source of encouragement and pride.

Frances's days were punctuated by the familiar game shows like the "The Price is Right" and the melodramatic twists of daytime soap operas, her laughter a melody that resonated throughout her room. To her close friends, Wendy and Robert Lowder, Linda and Larry Gilbert, and Jason Geiken, she was more than a friend; she was kin, their bonds forged in shared joy and sorrow.

Her earthly chapter may have concluded, but her story lives on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Her memory shall be a treasure locked within the soul, a whisper of joy in moments of silence.

Farewell, sweet Franny, until we meet again at heaven's gate, where the cardinals sing and the laughter of children fills the air. Your grace, your joy, your love—these are the gifts you have left us, and for them, we are ever grateful.
