Frances Winston Obituary
Born on July 28, 1946, Frankie was the daughter of D.W. and Allie McIlwain and the middle of seven siblings. She was a devoted wife to her husband of 52 years, Bobby Winston, and a loving mother to Wayne (Lori Ann) Carpenter of Sturgis, MS; Monti (Jason) King of Starkville, MS; and Robbi (Jerome) Lepard of Starkville, MS. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren-Chloe (Casey) Morgan, Owen King, Isaac Lepard, Micah King, Allie Lepard, and Quinn Lepard-and her great-grandson, Lincoln Morgan.
Frankie was a lifelong resident of Starkville, known for her skill and warmth as a hairdresser for more than 36 years. She had a servant's heart, dedicating many years to teaching Sunday School and leading Vacation Bible School at Osborn Presbyterian Church.
