Francesca Anne Henderson, a cherished mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 29, 2024, at Clarehouse in Tulsa, OK at the age of 58 years. She was born on March 4, 1966, in Urbana, IL and was the daughter of William “Bill” Knowles Hite, Jr. and Gayla Jo (Shafer) Thomas.
Francesca's life was one of joyous dedication to her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Britnie Hummer and her husband Joshua of Haskell, OK, and Dakota Henderson and his wife Lauren of Coweta, OK. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Wyatt Hummer, Keegan Hummer, Paxton Hummer, Oakley Hummer, Brantley Henderson, and Adley Henderson; her mother, Gayla Thomas of Oklahoma City, OK; her siblings, William "Bill" Hite, III and his wife Jennifer of Germany, Melissa Hite of Oklahoma City, OK, and Alexandra Ashley of New Kent, VA; and her nieces and nephews, Grace and Matthias Hite, Victoria McCleary, Destiny Haga, and Ivy Haga; and her faithful dog, Duke.
Francesca was preceded in death by her father, William "Bill" Knowles Hite, Jr., and her grandchildren, Kenzington Hummer, Kenlynn Hummer, and Holden Hummer.
A proud graduate of Thomas Edison High School in 1984, Francesca's commitment to education was evident in her pursuit of knowledge and personal growth. Her professional life was marked by her role as a manager in Insurance Services, where she was respected for her leadership and dedication.
Francesca's passions extended beyond her professional achievements. She had a zest for life that was infectious to all around her. Her younger years were filled with the thrill of showing horses and the responsibility of being a summer camp leader. Francesca's love for sports was evident in her high school soccer days, and her enthusiasm for the game remained a fond memory for her.
Her interests also included cherished moments spent at the lake. Francesca's love for the outdoors and adventure was a reflection of her free spirit and love for life.
Francesca's warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever be a treasure in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
A memorial service celebrating Francesca's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK.
