Francesca Incardona

Francesca (Ciccia) Incardona, a longtime resident of White Plains, peacefully passed away at home on October 14, 2022 at the age of 81.
Francesca was born on February 4, 1941 in Capaci, Sicily. She was the youngest of six children born to the late Antonino & Erasma (Costanzo) Longo. She grew up in Capaci and trained to become a seamstress. In her late teens/early 20s she traveled for work in Germany. On a train trip back home to Italy she met Salvatore. In March of 1963, at the age of 22, they married. After several years, they decided to start a new life in the United States and in 1974 settled in White Plains, NY. Francesca was a very dedicated and hard worker. She was employed by L.A. Schulman (White Plains) for many years. She eventually left and went to work at Gangemi Tailors (Hartsdale) until her retirement.
Francesca is survived by her husband of 59 years, Salvatore, her three children, Giuseppe (Michelle), Antonio (Theresa), Rosaria (Greg) Candido, her four grandchildren (Antonio, Marissa, Rhianna and Genna), her brothers, Erasmo (Angela) Longo & Antonino (Biagia) Longo and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her siblings, Salvatore Longo, Dominica (Salvatore) Longo and Paola (Giuseppe) Manzella.
Francesca was an amazing wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
