Francesca Mazzamuto, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2026. Her sudden passing has left a deep ache in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Born in Carini, Sicily, Francesca was a woman of warmth, strength, and a heart that lit up every room. She had a way of making everyone feel welcomed, loved, and cared for. Her laughter was contagious, her spirit was generous, and her love for her family was unwavering.

She was the proud mother of MichaelAngelo Amantia, Giuseppa Maria Romano, Nicoletta Francesca Amantia, and Stephanie Amantia. She was the cherished grandmother of Anthony Carmelo Romano, Christopher Michael Romano Jr., Giuliana Valentina Romano, and Riley Kate Amantia. Her heart belonged to her grandchildren, and they filled her life with immeasurable happiness. Nothing brought her greater joy than being their grandmother. Whether it was a simple dinner, a phone call, or time spent together, those moments meant everything to her. She also adored her dog, Missy, who brought her comfort and companionship.

Francesca will be remembered for her kindness, her resilience, and the way she loved deeply and unconditionally. The love she poured into her family will live on for generations.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carmelo John Amantia.

She is survived by her loving son, MichaelAngelo Amantia, and his wife, Tara Lynn Amantia, and their daughter, Riley Kate Amantia; her loving daughter, Giuseppa Maria Romano, and her husband, Christopher Michael Romano, and their children, Anthony Carmelo Romano, Christopher Michael Romano Jr., and Giuliana Valentina Romano; her loving daughter, Nicoletta Francesca Amantia; her loving daughter, Stephanie Amantia; her loving parents, Giuseppa Mazzamuto and Pietro Mazzamuto; her beloved siblings; her cherished nieces and nephews; and her cherished great-nieces and great-nephews.
