I was blessed to have Mr. DeCaria as a teacher at Lawrenceville Catholic High School way back in 1979. He was such a caring teacher and wanted his students to achieve success in and out of the classroom. I´m sending my thoughts and sympathy to his family and friends at this difficult time. I know that many from my class would come from Pittsburgh to pay our respects, but the weather puts a wrench in that plan. Please that he is fondly remembered by his students.

I remember Frank's tireless efforts to help and support teachers while he represented them as President of the Catholic Teacher's Organization. His office was in the Pittsburgh Federation of Teacher's building at that time. It was through his efforts that my then-husband got his first teaching job at Lawrenceville Catholic High School. I send my sincere sympathy and I will keep Frank and the dear Decaria family in my prayers.
