Francine Thomas

We are gathered here today in memory of our mother, Francine Thomas, so that we may acknowledge and share both our joy in the gift that her life was to us, and the pain that her passing brings. Born August 13, 1956, in New York to the late Freddie and Albertha Thomas. She was the 5th of 9 children, graduated high school, married, and joined the United States Air Force. She was 62 years young when she passed away on September 3rd in Rocklin California. Station in a variety of places including Ramstein AFB Germany and McClellan AFB California she attended college, volunteered at numerous charities, all while serving her country. She was honorably discharged and remained in California. She was blessed to leave behind 3 beautiful daughters and 3 beautiful grandchildren, who will deeply miss her. It's hard to say goodbye. We wish that we could have had more time. However, God has blessed us to spend the remaining time that she had left together and we are very blessed for that. We are thankful that most of her life was not lost to illness. While we know that now she is at peace we will celebrate her life that she did spend with her family. Although she is gone she has left a legacy of her love and perseverance behind. The way she has touched our lives will remain and I ask you to keep those memories alive by sharing them with us and one another
