Francis J. Curtis

Francis J. Curtis, 95, of Lansdale, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026. He was the beloved husband of the late Doris D. (Garges) Curtis, who passed away in 1986, and is survived by his two lovely daughters, Karen L. Curtis and Diane C. Curtis, both of Lansdale.

Born February 22, 1931 in Everett, MA, he was one of six children of the late Richard and Winifred (Whalen) Curtis.

After graduating from Everett High School, Francis enlisted in the United States Army and served between 1950 and 1953. After his service, he lived in New York for a short time before moving to Pennsylvania in 1962 where he married his wife, Doris.

Mr. Curtis was employed with U.S. Gauge (AMETEK) for over 30 years, retiring in the early 1990s. He was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lansdale, where he served as a volunteer for ten years.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Relatives and friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1000 W. Main St., Lansdale, PA 19446 followed by the Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
