Francis Fox

Francis "Frannie" Ann Fox, 64, of Beaufort, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026, after a long journey with chronic illness, which she met with resilience, determination, and remarkable strength.

Born on April 11, 1961, Frannie was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt. She lived a life defined by service, generosity, and devotion to her family and friends. Called to care for others, she spent her career in nursing, a role that reflected her compassionate heart and her desire to bring comfort and healing to those in need. For Frannie, nursing was not simply a profession, but a true expression of who she was.

Of all the roles she cherished, none meant more to her than being a wife to her high school sweetheart, a mother, and a grandmother. She celebrated every milestone and had a gift for remembering the details that made others feel special and loved. Her warmth and kindness were a source of light to those around her.

Frannie will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for the care she gave, the love she shared, and the grace with which she lived. Her life stands as a testament to perseverance, compassion, and the enduring power of hope.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Lloyd A. Fox, Jr. "Alan"; her sons, Andrew (Sarah) and Dustyn (Peyton); granddaughters, Charlotte and Emma Kate; parents, Mary and Lionel Cabaniss; and sisters, Cindy and Sandra. She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were blessed by knowing her.
