Frank was born August 29, 1965, in McIntosh, SD, to Beverly Feather and Darryl Strut. He was adopted 2 months later by Francis “Pud” Eugene Cluett and Jeannette Frances Cluett.
Frank was a private individual but loved sharing a good meal with his family. In his younger years, Frank enjoyed basketball and volleyball. Prior to his high school graduation in 1984, Frank was proud to attend music camp at the International Peace Gardens. His favorite memories were of traveling with his family to places like Mt. Rushmore, Dalles Dam, Old Faithful, and the Pacific Ocean. He adored his parents and children. Frank was beloved by his Uncle Dicky whom Frank spent much time helping in later years. With Frank’s help and determination, his father, Francis Sr., was able to spend his last days in the comfort of his home.
Frank is survived by his children, Jessie (Lawrence) Sharp and Joe Cluett; 3 grandchildren; his mother, Jeannette (Archambault) Cluett; sister, Margaret Ann “Sis” Krebs (Charles); aunties, Annette Davis and Marie Potts; the mother of his children, Zada (Smerer) Cluett; and 9 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Francis “Pud” Cluett; grandmother, RoseAnn (Wilkie-Archambault) Bear; grandfather, George Archambault; step-grandfather, Jesse Bear; grandparents, Roy and Elizabeth Cluett; Uncle Richard “Dicky” Archambault, Uncle Elmer and Aunt Isabell (Archambault) Laundreaux, Uncle George Edward Archambault; Godmother, Agnes “Dolly” Plumage; and Godfather Joe Luger.
