Francis (Frank) Marion McCrocklin III, 82, of Middletown, IN, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. He was born on August 8, 1942, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Frank proudly served in the U.S. Army, spending time stationed in Germany before returning home to dedicate his life to his family and business. He spent most of his career building and running McCrocklin Ford Sales, a family business established in 1948. His hard work and dedication were evident until his retirement at age 70. In retirement, Frank found joy in working on his farm and, most of all, spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jane McCrocklin; his children, Amber McCrocklin Walsh and Francis (Mark) Marion McCrocklin IV; his cherished grandchildren, Meadow and River McCrocklin, and Ty and Luke Walsh; his siblings, Vicki Hoxsey, Rick McCrocklin, and Jeff McCrocklin.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm at Ballard Funeral Home in Middletown, IN, on Friday, April 18, 2025. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to The Middletown American Legion, 450 North 10th Street, Middletown, IN 47356 or The American Cancer Society, 5635 West 96th Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46278. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
