Francis W. "Babe" Gee, Jr., 93, of Bradford, passed away with his family by his side, Sunday, April 20, 2025, at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.

Born August 20, 1931, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Francis W. Gee Sr. and Grace (Bartoo) Gee. He was a 1949 graduate of Bradford High School.

On September 12, 1953, in Bradford, he married Christie L. (Ekas) Gee who preceded him in death on June 11, 2006.

Babe worked at the Box Factory in Bradford and Thornton Company in Marshburg, and for Foster Township for several years. He and Christie moved to Wellsville in 1974, there he worked for Bo-Gee Assembly as a Tool and Die Maker until his retirement in 1995.

Babe was the kind of man who always put others first, whether it was family, friends or strangers, he gave his time and heart without hesitation. He never asked for much- just wanted to see others taken care of and happy. His selflessness and care for others left a mark on everyone who knew him. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and Buffalo Bills fan.

Survived by one daughter Jill (Ed) Konwinski, of Bradford, four grandchildren, Chad (Tanya) Hayden, Michele Hayden, Stacey Phillips and Eddie Konwinski, seven great grandchildren, Cade, Drake and Elisa Hayden, Logan (John) Obermeyer, Derek Sunafrank, Lucas Laktash and Raven Richardson, one great-great grandson, Vincent Obermeyer, and several nieces and nephews.

Babe was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Christie of 53 years, one daughter, Julie Irwin, who died in August of 2023, one brother and sister-in-law, Leo (Betty) Gee, one nephew, Leo Ray and two nieces Keri and Trisha.
