Fran Travis Obituary
1944 - 2025
Fran Kulick Travis passed away on November 17, 2025, after a long illness with dementia. Born in Connecticut, she grew up in Savannah and San Antonio, and graduated from UT at Austin. Fran lived in Lilburn and later Roswell. A devoted advocate, she was active in the NCJW, chairing the Advocacy Committee, lobbying for progressive causes, and proudly working with Congressman John Lewis. Fran sold custom logo items and taught at the Art Institute. She was predeceased by her husband, Bob; and children, Scott and Julia. Fran is survived by her brother, Gil, and his life partner, Anita.
