Francisco Chavez, passed away on January 6, 2026, in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held on, Monday, January 12, 2026 at 11:00 AM, at St. Williams Catholic Church, in Denver City with Father Eduardo Teo officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 10 AM to 8 PM and Sunday, January 11, 2026 at 8 AM to 8 PM at Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel, from in Denver City. Arrangements are under the direction of Troy Ratliff and Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City.
Francisco was born on July 31, 1989, in El Paso, Texas to Francisco Javier Chavez and Maria Rosario Murillo. He was a proud student of New Mexico Junior College and loved spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Francisco J. Chavez, and his grandmother, Guadalupe Romo.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Maria Rosario Murillo; his sister, Cristina Chavez; his brother, Javier Chavez (Itzel); three nieces, Monica, Alice, Sophia; three nephews, Francisco, Gabriel, and Ivan.
