Francisco Gutierrez Tupas

Born in Manila on June 4, 1943. He is the third among four siblings, namely Erlinda Tupas Abellanosa, Rolando Tupas and Rosemarie Tupas. His parents was Pedro and Guillermina Tupas. Francisco graduated from National University of Manila with a degree of Bachelor of Science Industrial Engineering and De La Salle College. Married Christina Huerto Tupas a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Journalism at the University of Santo Tomas. Before immigrating to the United States with his family, Francisco worked as a Purchasing Officer with Victorias Milling Company in Manila and Bacolod City. Francisco lived in San Francisco, California for 10 years and moved to San Mateo in 1984. Francisco served in civil service for 2 years at San Francisco Unified School District, 1 year at San Francisco Police Department, and then retiring as an Inspector with San Francisco Municipal Railway with 34 years of service, totaling 37 years for the City and County of San Francisco. Francisco is survived by his wife Christina of 49 years of marital bliss and challenges, along with son James. Francisco will most certainly be remembered for his formidable traits of exemplary relationship with others. He lived the life of simplicity yet from hard work often revered having the low profile lifestyle although loved enjoying good things in life. Francisco's motto was always honest hard work pays in the long run. He will always be remembered for his diligence honesty and amiable character.
