I graduated with Franco in 2011 and am shocked to hear that he passed. He was such a great guy and was always willing to help those who needed it in class, and his positivity was infectious. RIP.

Dear Anna and the Spadafora family,

My heartfelt condoloenses on the untimely loss of your son, Franco. Talented, bright, hard working, great sense of humor and pleasure to work with. Franco had yet to achieve is full potential in life. His passing is a loss to many people who came to know him and those who had not yet had the opportunity.

Respectfully,

Ralph Mangels

I met Franco in person only one time, at the BSA office in Massapequa. I was so struck by him that I have mentioned him in conversation several times. There was just something about him. I later learned that he had been a student in my husband's class a few years prior and had met my son at scout camp. It seems he made an instant connection with everyone he met. I was so saddened today to learn of his death. Some people, for whatever reason, leave an imprint on you. Franco did.
