Frank was a dear, sweet man. A very dear cousin. If you knew Frank, you knew a man who was always kind ! He was there to give hugs and a warm smile. We will miss Frank. Rest In Peace: Frank Abernathy. You will be missed.

Dear Frank, so often I told you how proud I am of your personal growth when
you learned through Self Help for Hard Hearing that your hearing impairment
was not a disability but a dis ABILITY. You bloomed and your self confidence
was super. You even served on a jury in Gaston County Courts with an oral
interpreter..you held presidency and other offices with SHHH, you became
delegate to National Conventions, traveled to Spain and other spots on your
bucket list, and with encouragement from doctor and friends agreed to get
a cochlear implant ...get a cell phone. YOU DID IT ALL... this and much more.
Thank you for allowing me to share in most of this successful journey with you
I will miss you my friend. Hugs and Love Mary Lou ILY
