Frank Baker, 88, of Russellville died in his home, surrounded by his children holding him with the most love and respect on December 14, 2025.
Frank grew up in the Hector area of Buttermilk. From then he went to California to start his career in refrigeration. Frank came back to Russellville in 1977, where he worked at ConAgra at night and built his business from the ground up during the day. He was the owner of Baker Refrigeration and serviced the community like no other with respect, diligence and honor. He leaves his children with a legacy that will go on forever not just with his business ethic, but being the best patient father that was always present and always gave 100 percent with anything he did. His friends and family always thought there was nothing that he couldn't do and nothing that he couldn't fix.
Frank's sons, with their wives, are Tim Baker of Russellville, Will and Ashley Baker of Russellville, Matt and Cindy Mills of Florida and Mark and Santana Mills of Pottsville. Frank's daughters and son-in-law, are Denise Baker of Russellville and Karen and Alan Showalter of Springdale.
Frank's grandchildren are Bryant and Madelynn Davis, Vaughan and John Carter Baker, Blakely and Brinkley Beth Baker, Evan, Bailey and Mason Mills, Grady, Nolan and Baker Mills and Derek Talbert.
Great-grandchildren are Luke and Annie Baker.
Frank was preceeded in death by his wife, Linda Baker; and his two beautiful granddaughters, Haleybeth Davis and Stella Baker; his mother and father, Willie and JT Roberts; and his best friend, Bob Ellison.
Family will accept visitors at Shinn Funeral Service on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, at Tate Cemetery to lay this amazing man to rest, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
Pallbearers are Tim and Will Baker, Matt and Mark Mills, Alan Showalter and Anthony Morris.
