Frank Berezansky, 93, of Seward, Pennsylvania, passed away on December 31, 2025. He was born in Charles, Pennsylvania, on December 20, 1932, the son of the late Alex and Nellie (Solanish) Berezansky.
Frank was preceded in death by his brothers Alex, John, George, Lou, Mike, and Peter Berezansky; and sisters Ann Kelly and Mary Hurley.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Martha (Pilat); his children Lisa Bertolino (John) of Blairsville, PA, Mark Berezansky (Paula) of Indiana, PA, and David Berezansky (Malissa Bennett) of Alexandria, VA; and his grandchildren Kevin Berezansky, Kayla Bertolino, Matthew Berezansky, and Lauren Berezansky. Frank proudly served his country as a medic in the United States Army during the Korean War, including overseas service. After his military service, he built a long and successful career in the steel and mining industries. Along with several of his brothers, he co-owned B&B Electrical Manufacturing Co., a producer of mine safety equipment, and served as the company's president for a time. Known for his strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit, Frank was always exploring new ideas and opportunities.
In his free time, Frank enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting, and especially valued being outdoors. He looked forward to family events, poker nights, and fishing trips, and found great joy in his children and grandchildren. In retirement, he worked as a bus driver for the Laurel Valley High School golf team-a role that combined his love of golf with the chance to visit many of his favorite courses.
