It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frank Brian "The Bear" Christensen, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and partner. Born to Josephine and Bjorn Christensen, Frank lived a full and meaningful life, defined by loyalty, service, and passion.
Frank proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 22 years, where he worked as a linguist and submariner, forging bonds and memories that would last a lifetime. A man of many interests, Frank loved the thrill of riding motorcycles and was an avid fan of golf, soccer, softball and volleyball. His loyalty to the Los Angeles Dodgers was unwavering.
Frank was also a dedicated and loyal parishioner of the Mormon Church, finding strength and community in his faith.
He is survived by his longtime partner and love, Angie Lindsey, and his three daughters: Christen Jae Savannah, Angela Veronica Schwartz, and Dawn Marie Beauchamp from his marriage to Veronica Christensen. His legacy lives on through his cherished grandchildren: Alexander David Jones, Jack Dylan Schwartz, Molly Elizabeth Jones, Connor William Frank Schwartz, Ashton Veronica Beauchamp, and Isabella Maria Beauchamp. He is also survived by his son in law Keith "Cookie" Schwartz. In addition he is survived by his sister Cathy Hampton. Frank was predeceased by his brother, Mark Christensen.
Known for his unique blend of strength and humor, Frank was affectionately called a 'Papa' by his familly. His sharp wit, gentle spirit, and endless passion for life will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
In his passing, we are reminded of the incredible legacy he leaves behind, one of service, love, and a devotion to those closest to him.
