Uncle Frankie was one of the best uncles a girl could have. Loved to visit Grandma and Grandpa at 217 N. 14th St., Escanaba, Michigan all the time. Took the train (the 400) from Chicago to Escanaba, sometimes twice a year to see them as my father (Walter Peterson) worked on the railroad and we could get free transportation. Last time I saw Uncle Frankie was when my Grandma Marie DeMars died and we went to her funeral. He was a wonderful uncle.
