Frank Joseph Findlow II, 79, of Palmdale, California, passed away on August 19, 2025. A distinguished anthropologist and archaeologist, Frank earned his PhD from UCLA and taught archaeology at Columbia University before dedicating 30 years of his career to Lockheed Skunkworks. An avid hunter and fisherman, Frank also had a deep passion for antique British sporting arms and shared his expertise through writing for the Doublegun Journal and teaching others in person.
Frank's passion for discovery, both in his professional field and personal pursuits, will be remembered by all who knew him.
