Frank Gomez Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Funerales Santana - FD 1854 - San Bernardino on Jan. 5, 2026.
Frank Gomez, age 18, of San Bernardino, passed away far too soon, leaving behind a family and community forever changed by his absence. Though his time on earth was brief, the love he brought to others will continue to live on through those who knew him. Frank has a heart that naturally looked outward. He found happiness in making others smile, in lifting people up, and being a source of comfort even when life had not always been gentle with him. Growing up through hardship, including time spent in foster homes, Frank experienced challenges that no child should have to endure. Yet through it all, he carried resilience, empathy, and a quiet strength that spoke to his character. Family was the center of Frank's world. He shared a deep and meaningful bond with his brother Gustavo, whom he looked up to as a father figure. That relationship shaped him, guided him, and gave him a sense of stability and love that meant everything to him. Frank's devotion to his siblings was unwavering, and he held them close in his heart. Frank is survived by his beloved siblings: Jazmyn, Gustavo, and Reyna Gomez. They will remember him not only for who he was, but for the love he gave so freely and light he brought into their lives. Those who knew Frank will remember his gentle spirit, his kindness, and his desire to see others happy. His life serves as a reminder that even in the face of hardship, love and compassion cab still shine brightly. A service honoring and celebrating the life of Frank Gomez will be held on January 5, 2025, from 5:00pm-9:00pm at Funerales Santana 1798 N. D Street, San Bernardino, CA Burial will be the following day January 6, 2025, Hermosa Gardens Cemetery at 900 Meridian St, Colton CA. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance, prayer, and shared love as they honor his life and legacy. Through his journey was short, Frank's impact was profound. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of those who loved him. " The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18

I love baby .I am thankful for the years I got to be part of your life. Although you were taken from us far too soon. You make an impact in my life ,as well as others life's. That you will never be forgotten. The love you gave came truly from your heart. The laughter you spread, your smile, your kindness. We're beautiful. And let's not forget your loyalty. You never left no one behind.Frank there will never be no one like you. You were different, but in a good way. You were very special to me. My heart heart aches since the day you left us.My life will never be the same baby.I know you're in a better place now. And you're no longer in pain,or sad. So that's the only thing that help's me get through my pain. Sometimes I forget your gone. The other day I tried calling your phone but it didn't go through. Then I remembered, you were gone. Other days I wait for you to walk through my door and hear you say" Tia I'm here, what do you got to eat". Mijo, I'll never forget you or the special bond we shared.I'll carry in my heart,my memory and ill make sure that you're not forgotten.ily bby boy
