Of Braddock Hills, age 84, died on Monday, October 6, 2025.

Frank was the beloved husband of Donna (Klein) Gribbin for 48 years.

He was the treasured father of Frank H. (Erica) Gribbin of Plum and Timothy A. Gribbin of Braddock Hills.

Frank is also survived by 5 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Harry James Gribbin and Patrick Gribbin.

Frank was a 1960 graduate of North Braddock Scott High School. After serving his nation in the U.S. Army, Frank returned home and began a longstanding career at the Union Switch and Signal in Swissvale from where he retired. As his sons grew, he became deeply involved in their athletic pursuits, first in Little League baseball. He volunteered countless hours with the North Braddock/Braddock Little League, not only coaching the young players but also serving as Vice President.
As his sons, Frank and Tim, transitioned from the baseball diamond to the ice rink, Frank's support never wavered. He was a fixture at their hockey games, cheering them on and encouraging them as their biggest fan.

There will not be a public visitation or service.

Arrangements are with the Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Ave. at Cable, East Pittsburgh, PA 15112, (412) 824-8800.
