Funeral Mass for Frank Hintz, 71, of Dickinson will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Fr. Justin Waltz celebrating. Burial will take place in St. Pius cemetery, Schefield.
Visitation for Frank will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Monday, October 27, 2025 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson, with a rosary and vigil being held at 6:00 pm.
Frank passed away Friday, October 17, 2025 at CHI St. Alexius, Dickinson.
Frank was born on March 2nd, 1954 in Oshkosh Wisconsin to Douglas and Lucille (Norkofski) Hintz. He grew up in Dickinson and graduated from Dickinson High School. Following graduation, Frank went to work for the Huskies Briquetting Plant, then later for oil field safety. He loved this field of work and was known as a hard worker. Frank was blessed to open his own business, AF Services LLC in 2023.
Frank married Andrea Obritsch on April 16th, 1980 at St. Joseph's Church in Dickinson. Their forever home was in Dickinson and it's where they proudly raised their children.
During Frank's downtime, he enjoyed calling and playing bingo. He also enjoyed bowling, golfing and playing slot machines. Frank loved and spoiled his three dogs, Munchie, Fifi and Bella. He cherished his eight grandchildren and his one great-grandchild.
Frank is survived by his wife, Andrea; daughters, Cassie Zemke of Billings MT, Dakotah (Brandon Lee) of Austin,TX; son Andrew (Heather) of Dickinson; grandchildren, Ashley, Bella, Carleigh, Alexis, Leah, Kaden, Devin, Camron; great-grandchild, Sage; brother, Tom (Doris) ; sisters Polly Duran and Mary (Wayne) Jesse; and sister-in-law, Fran Stafford
He was preceded in death by his parents Douglas and Lucille, in-laws Andrew Obritsch and Viola (Obritsch) Woehl; one brother, Emory Stafford and brother-in-law, Joe Duran.
He will be deeply missed by so many.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the ambulance service, CHI St. Alexius, Dickinson, and the police department for their care, compassion, and assistance during this difficult time.
