I imagine you shiny, and young, and healthy, and new, spending time with Mom. But I still miss you desperately. I am so sorry I didn't ask you more questions while you were still here.

Dear Dad, So much has happened in the last 5 years. But the ache of missing you is constant. In large ways and small, I am reminded every day of your integrity, your sense of humor, your hard work, your moral compass. Thank you for your guidance and your embrace, even now. Love, Francis

5 years and it still feels like yesterday. One of the hardest things I ever had to do was to receive the call from Catherine Villegas from Providence and then call Mom with the news.
