In memory of
Charles Smithdeal. MD

I am saddened to only learn today of Frank's passing several years ago. He was a very close personal friend throughout college at ETSU and med school (Univ or TN.) A brilliant and dedicated physician and a marvelous, kind, and loving human being. I loved and respected you, my "brother from another mother", and know that we will meet again.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Dr. Knight delivered our son 39 years ago at Stuart Circle Hospital. He truly was a wonderful man.

Dr Knight was one of the nicest doctors I ever worked with. I worked L&D at Stuart Circle Hosp. in the late 60s. We all used to watch out the window to see him fold up that tall body to get in his VW. May God give you all comfort.

I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Knight's passing. He delivered the first of my three children 33 years ago. I'd seen him numerous times during my pregnancy and really liked him although he was kind of quiet. I will never forget how "alive" he became in the delivery room! It was quite obvious that delivering babies was so special to him.

I am so sorry to hear of Frank's passing. He was a wonderful man, who always made people feel special when they were around him. He treated me like a family member whenever I saw him, for that I will always be grateful. I know Frank will be missed by all, but the wonderful impressions he left on so many of us will be remembered forever. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
