Mr. Frank J. Landino, Jr., of Sandown, New Hampshire, died Thursday, December 26, 2024 at Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln, Mass. He was 69.
Frank was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 22, 1955, a son of the late Frank J., Sr. and Monica (Malik) Landino and was raised in suburban Middleburg Heights. He was a proud graduate Saint Ignatius High School in Cleveland and later earned his bachelor’s degree in logistics from Pennsylvania State University.
His career in the field began with the Flying Tigers, the first U.S. all cargo commercial airline. Following its merger with FedEx in1989 he worked for a time at Newsweek in New York City before going to work at Wheaton Van Lines where he became their national accounts sales manager.
A resident of Sandown, New Hampshire for the past thirty-six years, Frank served for a time as a town selectman.
He leaves his wife, Linda M. (Gullo) Landino; his son, Frank J. Landino, III (Christina); his grandchildren, Mia, Luca and Leo Landino; his brothers and sisters, John Landino of Highland Village, Texas, Lorraine Joyce of Aurora, Illinois, Andrea Thornton of Strongsville, Ohio and Pete Landino of Huron, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Frank’s life by gathering for his Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2025 in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham. Burial will be private.
