Frank Lio Obituary
He was born November 8, 1924 in Evanston to Emilio and Brasilia (Onofrio) Lio.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Formerly of Evanston, Frank moved to Johnsburg seven years ago.
He was employed as a foreman of restaurant heating equipment for Midco International Co. For 25 years.
He enjoyed building and constructing and had built his own apartment complex.
Survivors include two daughters, Marybeth (Robert) Alexander of Johnsburg, Nancy (Paul) Colderchant of Darien; two grandchildren, Robbie, Faith; a brother, Gino Lio of Evanston; and a sister, Emily Robbins of Cambridge, MD.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Therese (Jan. 1, 1997); his parents, a sister Antonette; a sister-in-law, Theresa Lio; and a brother-in-law, Phil Robbins.
Friends can meet the family from 9 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 15, at St. Emily’s Catholic Church, 101 N. Horner Lane, Mt. Prospect.
Interment in All Saints Cemetery.
