Frank S. Manna beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather 95 years of age, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by loved ones on Friday, January 10th, 2025.
Frank was born on November 9th, 1929 in Huntington, New York to the late Sam and Anna (Auricchio). Frank proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked over 20 years at Steers Sand and Gravel until its closure, and ultimately retired as a Groundskeeper at Stonybrook University. He loved to travel, work in his yard and talk about the old days.
Frank is survived by his loving wife Mary (D'Andre), of 71 years, his Son Frank and wife Mary Jane, Daughter's Kathleen and husband Duane and Angel and husband Ricky, six Grandchildren, Rick, Danielle, Michael, David, Emily, and Sarah, and fourteen Great Grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all.
A public viewing will take place on Thursday January 16th at the Moloney Funeral Home located at 132 Ronkonkoma Avenue, Lake Ronkonkoma, NY, between the hours of 2:00pm and 4:00pm and between the hours of 7:00pm and 9:00pm. Frank will be laid to rest at the Calverton National Cemetery on Friday January 17th, following a 10:00am Mass at the Assumption of The Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church located at 33 Crown Acres Rd, Centereach, NY. All are welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, If desired friends and family may make a memorial contribution to the Wounded Warrior Project.
