We were so sorry to hear about Frank. My husband and I met him at the Legion Games at the Vets Home many years ago. We would look forward every year to get to see and visit with him. We were concerned when we didnt see him this year but kept hoping he would pop in like he use to do sometimes. I always bring cookies the first day and he would love them. The next day he always brought us some tomatoes from his garden.
We also would see him at the Chateau in Pleasant Hill at different times. He was visiting his sister in law I think it was and we were seeing my husbands mom.
His Life story in the paper was right on. He was one of the nicest carrying men that ever blessed this earth. He had a great smile and laugh. Again, we are so sorry for your loss but so happy we could call him our friend.
