I will always feel honored to have worked alongside Judge Monroe in Texas Western Bankruptcy Court Austin Division. He was a calming presence with a fun sense of humor and I respected the wisdom and humility in which he served. Judge Monroe was in his core a non-judgmental person which ironically is what made him such a fair court judge. I personally will always hold him in high honor. Rest In Peace.

I cant believe its been a year. You were such a kind man and Im so glad that I got to meet you through Moose and Jack. I have tried to check in with Laura and the pups . I was so sad to hear about Moose a couple of weeks ago but I am sure he is with you now. You are still missed very much and will continue to be.

Frank was the first lawyer I met when I was interviewing with Sheinfeld, Maley & Kay in 1981. I often think about his kindness, his generous spirit, his super intelligence and wit throughout the time I worked with him there and I am eternally grateful that our paths crossed. May he rest in peace and may his family and friends be comforted by wonderful memories of this extraordinary man.

I was so sorry to hear from Laura about Frank passing . He was such a nice man. He adopted moose and Jack from me (I was fostering them) . He would send pics and keep me updated . We had just been in touch in April for the boys 16th birthday and he was bragging on them and how well they were doing . I know he will be missed by all that knew and loved him .

I had the privilege of meeting Frank when I was a young lawyer. And I´m blessed to call him a mentor and friend. He was a wise and thoughtful judge and a wonderful friend. Frank was fun, kind, generous and inspirational. We will keep him in our thoughts and in our hearts always. Condolences to his family.

We laughed a lot together, on occasion we cried together and we applauded one another when we deserved it, we truly best friends. I will miss him forever. Craig

Frank Monroe is one of the finest people I have ever met. Although we met professionally, Judge Monroe and I became friends - and I have always cherished my personal time with him. Intelligent, funny, charismatic, generous and good hearted - Frank Monroe was all of those things and much more. While I send my sincere condolences to his family that he loved, I am confident that all who knew Frank will keep him in their heart as I will. Rest in peace my friend.
