November 24, 1947 - June 18, 2021
Beaufort, South Carolina - Frank Anthony Nocilla, 73, of Beaufort, SC, died Friday, June 18, 2021 at his residence.
Mr. Nocilla was born on November 24, 1947 in Newburgh, NY. He is the son of the late Louis Nocilla and Mary Zambito Nocilla.
Frank taught history for 33 years in the Newburgh, NY School District. Additionally, he owned and operated Complete Pool Service for many years. After moving to Beaufort, SC in 2003, Frank was an active volunteer with Meals on Wheels and the United Way.
He was also a member of the Olde Beaufort Golf Club and played regularly with his close friends.
Frank was an active, kind, friendly and generous man, who was community-minded and was known for helping others in need. He will be sorely missed by his family, friends and acquaintances.
Surviving is his wife, Caroline C. Nocilla; two sons, Michael (Nicole) Nocilla and Thomas (Marzena) Nocilla; four grandchildren, Kelsey, Kyla, Adam and Olivia; and one sister, Fran Bakker (Rich); along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 11:30 am at St. Peter's Catholic Church on Lady's Island.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either the United Way or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory are serving the family.

So sorry to hear of Frank´s passing. I can´t begin to describe what he meant to me growing up. I find myself smiling at the memories. I send my prayers to you all, it´s not easy losing someone so special and dear. I hope you all find peace in the memories you all have. My love to all.

Mr. Nocilla was one of my favorite people that came into the Animal Medical Center. He always had a great smile and always made us laugh. I am so sorry for your loss, he will be missed.
