Frank Michael Paolercio, a cherished man known affectionately as Frank to his loved ones, was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on November 12, 2025, in Stamford, CT. Born on January 4, 1937, in the Bronx, NY, Frank was the embodiment of a life well-lived, filled with love, kindness, and generosity.
The son of Michele and Filomena (Luongo) Paolercio, Frank was a beacon of light in his community from an early age. His journey began in the streets of the Bronx, where he was raised alongside his seven siblings, who have since preceded him in passing. Despite the loss of his beloved wife, Patricia (Parisi) Paolercio, Frank's legacy continued to shine through his devoted daughters, Carolyn (Harry) Falcigno and Francine (Jeffrey) Wolfe, his adored grandchildren Jennifer (Matthew) Willett, Jacki (Jason) Zakhar, and Harry (Lisamarie Morales) Falcigno Jr., and his treasured great-grandchildren Anthony, Aria, Joseph, Ethan, and CJ.
Frank's education at the Metropolitan Vocational High School in Manhattan was marked by accolades for scholarship, behavior, and citizenship, laying the foundation for a remarkable career. For 68 years, he was the proud owner of "Hairdressers Ltd.," a testament to his unwavering commitment and passion for his craft. Known to his employees and customers as Michael, many remained loyal to him for decades and adored him. Frank was not only a master of his trade but also a winner of prestigious awards, including The Clairol Hair Fashion Award and the Columbian Hairstylist Guild Award, with his wife Patricia gracing the stage as his hair model.
Frank's interests were simple yet profound. He found joy in the tranquility of beachside walks, the comfort of his own backyard, and the rich flavors of Italian cuisine-but only if shared in the company of others. His quiet strength and Christian values were the cornerstones of his life, guiding him in providing unconditional love and sage advice to all who sought his counsel. His gentle smile and welcoming demeanor were magnetic, drawing people from all walks of life to his side.
Frank's life was a testament to the virtues of love, kindness, and generosity. His impact on the world was immeasurable, and while his physical presence will be dearly missed, his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated along side his beloved wife Patricia on Saturday November 15, 2025 at the Church of the Resurrection in Rye NY at 10:00. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank's memory to: Church of the Resurrection, 910 Boston Post Rd, Rye NY 10580.
