Frank Elvis Petero

Frank Elvis Petero, 86 of Walnut Ridge, died February 9, 2023, in the Lawrence Hall Nursing Center in Walnut Ridge.
Born September 24, 1936, in Walnut Ridge; son of the late, John Marion and Maudie Thompson Petero. Frank was a proud member of the U.S. National Guard and served for a brief time in Little Rock for the Army. He was a machine operator for several factories and retired from Monroe in Paragould. He enjoyed being social, going hunting and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mildred; a son, Billy; a brother, John Petero; two sisters, Minnie Hickerson and Dixie King.
Survivors include his son, Rickey (Tammy) Petero of Loves Park, IL; two daughters, Brenda (Dale) Paulson of Rockford, IL and Fran (Rick) Forman of Bono; three grandchildren, Nichole Keller, Angie Hauser, and Jamie Downey; four great grandchildren, Mason, Jacob, Noah, and Tammy 2; four honorable grandchildren, Cameron Boyd, Kim Dunaway, Triston Turner, and Madison Turner; one sister, Jewell (Stanley) Schmidt of Hoxie; and his beloved cat, Socks; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be Monday, February 13, 2023, at 12 P.M. in the Bryan Chapel with Bro. John Durham officiating. Pallbearers will be Triston Turner, Cameron Boyd, Brian Dunaway, Tyler Dunaway, Larry Forman, and Larry Helms. Interment will follow in the Trinity Cemetery in Bono.
Visitation will be from 11 A.M. till time of service.
