Miss you Frank at scrambles from Helen of Massapequa park NY
LTC (ret) Dennis Hupp
August 8, 2025
I served with LTC (then MAJ) Frank Rasbury in the 3rd Battalion of the 508th Infantry Regiment at Fort Kobbe in Panama. We attended and graduated from Jumpmaster School in 1966. Frank was a "squared away" officer with the high standards that inspired me and others to perform our best. Two years later we "reconnected" briefly in Vietnam. Although our interactions were brief during a critical time of the war in the Central Highlands, I was impressed that he remembered me. Many years passed before we reunited in Ocala at a few meetings of the Airborne Association. Again, he greeted me and remembered me as if we had been seeing each other regularly. I served with and under many exceptional leaders for much longer periods than with Frank. Truly he stood out among and above the others. I miss him already. Yet, I will continue to cherish in a profound way the impact that he has made in my life and military career. Rest in God´s eternal peace, dear friend. Airborne all the way, sir!

First time we met Frank in Scrambles he had his uniform on for the holiday he loved his country and served it well
I looked forward to seeing them on Sundays after church. They were the famous couple in scrambles !!!
