Frank Carl Runyan, Jr., 95, passed away at 12:45 PM on February 7, 2026, at the Harry S Truman Veterans Hospital in Colombia.
A private burial will take place at a later date.
Frank was born on November 8, 1930, in Saint Louis to Frank Carl Runyan, SR. and Rose (Trentman) Runyan.
On December 15, 1990, Frank married Betty White and she survives.
Frank was a veteran of both the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army.
He was a retired carpenter and could build anything from a toy box to a two-story hexagon house with a basement, all having brick fireplaces. He loved being outdoors, working in the yard, boating at the Lake of the Ozarks, and traveling the country in a fifth wheel camper trailer.
Along with his wife, Betty, Frank is survived by three daughters, Nancy Seaton and friend Ricci Even, Lora Morrow (Dan), Janice White (Mike), a son, Mark Runyan, two step-daughters, Connie White Blue, Cathy White Dennis (Richard), two-step sons, David White (Cindy), Mike White (Janice), a brother, Bob Runyan; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Evelyn Pursley, Bertha Nichols and Frances Dix.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Friends of Mt. Horeb Cemetery and may be sent in care of Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home, 104 S. Collier St. Centralia, MO 65240.
