Frank Schnetzer Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Walker Funeral Home - Butler County on Dec. 23, 2025.
Frank Edward Schnetzer passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025, at his home. Born on July 31, 1936, in Cincinnati, OH. Husband to the late Eva L. {Weldon} Schnetzer.

Frank graduated from Central High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, and this is where he met his wife Eva. Frank loved his family, fixing cars, 50 - 60's music, jitterbug dancing, fishing, family picnics, and being the "Big Brother" protector of his eight sisters and two brothers. He married Eva in 1956. Then, on December 27, 1956, he became a proud father to his firstborn child, Connie Sue, and her protector. Then seven more children followed, making him and Eva very loving and proud parents, and Frank their protector.

He is survived by his children Connie (Patrick) Herth, Denise Schnetzer, Eva Smith, Mary Eby, Albert Schnetzer, Michael {Sherry} Schnetzer, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren.

Frank was preceded in death by daughters, Ruth Ann Schnetzer, Sandra Brown; grandchildren, Sheena & Jason Schnetzer, and Danielle Boyer; parents, Mary E.& Albert F. Schnetzer. Siblings Joseph "Butch" Schnetzer, Albert J. Schnetzer, Patricia A. Dowers & Viriginia H. Penny.

He was such a jokester and loved teasing our mom, his sisters, his wife, his children, and his friends. His jokes, laughter, warmth, and generous heart will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved him. Family meant the world to him. Family and friends take with you these quotes: Unforgiveness "Burns" bridges but forgiveness "Builds" bridges of Peace and Serenity, So, "God grant us the serenity."

Son, brother, husband, father & friend, until we meet again in our God's glory, may you, Frank, rest in peace and the arms of Jesus Christ our Savior.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 9:30 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, 1750 Chase Avenue, Cincinnati (45223). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.

He will be laid to rest on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 12:00 pm at Crown Hill Memorial Park & Mausoleum, 11825 Pippin Road, Colerain Township, Ohio 45231.
