Frank Regis Shreve Jr.

Frank Regis Shreve, Jr. passed away after a short illness due to a stroke. He was 77 years old.

He is survived by his daughter Wendy Bailey; his sister Chris Kasenchak (Bill); his brother Jeff Shreve; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Frank spent his career as a mechanic at several car dealerships in the Richmond area. During his 20's he discovered a passion for sailing that led him to Kilmarnock, where he later made his home. He loved to spend time on the Chesapeake Bay working and sailing on his boat Careem.

Frank enjoyed camping in the mountains and visiting Myrtle Beach and the Florida Keys. He had an interest in military history and loved his 1965 Thunderbird. He also accomplished a third-degree black belt in karate.

He was blessed with many friends in his community. One of his favorite things was to attend the monthly Moose Lodge breakfast and gather with friends at the Great Fortune restaurant.

The family would like to express its sincere gratitude to Page and Travis for their wonderful care and love during Frank's illness. Words cannot express how thankful we are for you.

A private celebration of Frank's life will be held at a later date.
