Frank S. Sroka III, age 69 of Baldwin passed away after a courageous four and a half year battle with AML, including a stem cell bone marrow transplant. He was the beloved husband of Valerie (Dubaniewicz) Sroka for 41 years. Loving father to Frank R. Sroka (Anna) and Brandi Lucot (Brian). Cherished Pappy to Brooke, Bryce and Brayden Lucot and Frank P. Sroka. Preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ruth Sroka. Survived by his brother Gary Sroka (Susan), and sister Diane Scherer (Jeff). He will be missed by his precious dog, Abby, and many nieces and nephews.

Frank grew up in Carrick and later moved to Baldwin where he and his wife proudly raised their family. Frank loved spending time up the cottage on French Creek in Cochranton where he enjoyed fishing with his family. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed running Jaybo's bowling league for 40 years. Frank retired from the U.S. Postal Service after many years of dedicated service. Frank was ever present for and loved cheering on his grandkids with all of their activities. He was a devoted family man that lived for his family and his grandkids made up his life. Frank was a devout Catholic and a true Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Boron Funeral Home, 1719 Brownsville Road Pittsburgh PA 15210. Funeral Prayers Friday at 10 AM. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Basil Church of Blessed Trinity Parish at 10:30 AM.
