Frank Warren Stull, 102, of
Estero, Florida died peacefully 10 January 2026 after a short illness. Born 1 March 1923 in
Akron, Ohio the only child of the late Roy and Olga Stull. Frank along wife his late wife Marion were residents of Estero since 1994 coming from
Akron, Ohio.
Frank lived a blessed and eventful life of 102 plus years. 18 years old when the United States entered WWII Frank volunteered for service and served as a Bomber Pilot in the United States Army Air Forces serving from 1942 through 1946. After completing flight training, he was assigned to the 5th Air Force, 387th Bombardment Group in the Southwest Pacific Operating Area and completed 52 combat missions over New Guinea and the Philippines flying the A-20 Havoc. Leaving the USAAF in 1946 as a First Lieutenant Frank returned to Akron and met Marion Petrovich whom he then married beginning a 74-year love story. They were an inseparable pair who loved life and all its adventures to the fullest. Be it spending time with their extended family, watching their many nieces and nephews grow and being there to celebrate all their achievements, travelling and attending sporting events and enjoying time spent with the many dear friends they made over the years, they made the most out of their time together. They especially loved spending time at their residence on Lake Erie boating, fishing and playing golf together where Frank was an accomplished player eventually shooting his age or better over 1000 times. A true embodiment of "The Greatest Generation" Frank was humble but very proud of his wartime service and went on to have a very successful career in the banking Industry before retiring and moving to
Estero, Florida where they lived and were long time members at Estero Country Club enjoying a richly deserved retirement.
Frank is survived by his sisters in law Veena (Bo) Miller of Medina, Ohio, Barbra Murphy (Robert) of Masonic Home, Kentucky and numerous nieces and nephews including Mark and Illona Miller of
Estero, FL, Nancy George (Eric) of Columbus, Ohio and Eric Miller of Chicago, Illinois.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Our Lady of Light Catholic Community in

A Celebration of Life will take place at a date to be determined and will be announced.
