So sad to hear about Frank´s passing. I used to play handball against his father, Frank Sr., at Golden Gate Park over 50 years ago. His dad would sometimes bring Frank and his brother, Rich, down to watch. Later, Frank and Rich became an accomplished handball doubles team and I actually played my last game against them before retiring from handball almost 30 years ago. Frank was always easy to get along with, a true gentleman, and an all around class act. He will no doubt be sorely missed by many. My sincerest condolences to his family.

Tough to lose a brother so soon. Looking forward to being there and celebrating his life at the Elk's and sending him off to mom & dad, where they will welcome him with open arms and have their son back. Rip Frank Jr, you taught me a lot and I couldn't have had a better big brother. I wouldn't change anything about our relationship.

I love you,

Rich

Sending my thoughts and prayers to Frank's family. I knew Frank from Handball at the Olympic Club probably about 30 years ago. He was an incredible athlete and always nice to talk to. I saw him a couple years ago at a gathering he was catering. We caught up and spoke like it was just yesterday that we had seen each other. A truly nice person, RIP Frank.

My deepest regards to the family. Franky was one our our childhood friends. Our dads went to high school together. On the weekends we spent lot of day at Frank and Emma´s with all of us kids running wild. Franky catered my 50th birthday party and it was amazing. He talked about his beautiful family and how they all now are in the business now. He will be missed. Love Darlene Gonzalez and family.

Saddened to hear of Franks passing as he was truly loved by anyone fortunate enough to have known him. My thoughts are with Toni and the family at this time. I knew Frank from Wallbangers Racquet Club when he and Richie would play in the 1970s. Then Bocce ball at the Elks and even Fish Market visits! Always made me laugh...always! Rest in eternal peace my friend!

We´re just so stunned about Frank´s passing. We keep thinking of how much he laughed when we talked to him, especially at the Elk´s Club. He was such a great man with a heart of gold. His passing makes us remember our mortality and how we need to appreciate every day that we are given. Much love to the whole family.

Dear Toni, Alexa and Austin:

We are all so saddened by the news of losing one of the best human beings we have all ever met. He was an inspiration to all the young boys growing up, playing AYSO baseball/Cooperstown. He was a teacher, a friend, a coach and so much more to all my sons, daughter and me.
Alexa has her dad's smile and Austin has his dad's love of feeding and cooking for all who come through their door. His legacy will carry on forever.
We will all miss him and give all our love to you three.
Love Lisa, Jack, Nick, Adam and Lauren Liberty

While Frank´s passing is a devastating loss to his family, his absence will leave a gigantic vacuum amongst his friends and the handball community. Other than Frank, I don´t think I´ve ever met another person that never said a single negative think about a person or his surroundings. Thank you for all your contributions and for being who you were. You will be greatly missed.

I join Frank's many friends in mourning his sudden passing. I learned a lot about handball playing with Frank, mostly that I didn´t belong on the same court with him, but for some reason he was always welcoming. A great man, a great family man, he will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege to be in his world. My heartfelt condolences to his family and to all who knew and loved him.

Dear Toni & Family,
I've known Frank since I was nine years old playing Baseball in the SSF Pee Wee league. He was always one of the friendliest and fun teammates that I ever had. Even though we didn't go to the same schools, Frank would always call me up and say we are going to a party after the game tonight. He knew how to bring people together and I will miss his friendship and all of the good times back in So. City. May Frank Rest in Peace.

Sending my condolences to Toni and the rest of his family. Frank was such a sweet, caring person who loved his family. I met him at Safeway and loved his fast wit. We would talk football, I am shocked to lose a friend.
My deepest condolences and love,

My deepest condolences go out to you Toni and your children along with the rest of Franks family our hearts our broken. I have great memories when I was younger growing up having great times with Frank AKA Franky and his family as our parents were best friends from high school. Every time running into Frank was always great as we would remember the times at Golden Gate Park handball courts with our pops the good old days and talk of our parents and that friendship they coveted. Your Father was so proud of your accomplishments. You will truly be missed by many. Give our folks a big hug buddy.

I´ve known Frank since the early 1970´s in Pee Wees (Baseball) and we became good friends when we went to high school together. Frank and I would call each other every month, just to check in; I just talked to him a week and a half ago. I am so glad we all got together earlier this year for lunch . . . I am just not ready to say goodbye to one of my good friends and yet here we are.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Toni and the kids.
Frank, until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand

So sad to hear of Frank's passing. I haven't seen Frank since our High School days, but remember how great he was as El Camino's star quarterback. Prayers to Frank's family and friends. Don't live in South City anymore but remember those days with a smile.
