Two of Steve Vaugn's friends, Kent Roberts and Steven Arey in Salisbury, drove to Skyland, N.C. and visited the grave of Steve Vaughn's parents at eht Old Salem Baptist Church on Rosecraggen Street. Kent scattered Steve's ashes at the grave and we shared some memories from high school. The three of us graduated in 1965.

I initially was a customer of Steve´s in 1984 when he worked at Foreign Cars Italia in Greensboro. We became friends after that with a mutual interest in cars. We talked on the phone countless times and went to car shows and once to the mountains. Steve was a good friend and is missed.

I came to know Steve when he became employed by NAPA as a part time delivery driver. He had a very pleasant personality and was quick witted. I became very fond of home and referred to him as Uncle Frank. Condolences to the family. He will be missed.

I'm sorry to hear of Steve's passing. He and I both shared an interest in old British Land Rovers and had met back in the 90's. To any family reading this, my condolences and may God Bless and Comfort You.
