Frank Vitabile

Frank Vitabile passed from this life on March 12, 2026. Born in 1927, he was 98 years old. Dearly loved by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, Frank will be profoundly missed. His wit, intelligence, and kindness will live on in our hearts. He served his country in Japan and Korea in 1945. He was an accomplished artist, a life member of the Art Students League, and was president of the Reilly League of Artists into his nineties. His wife of fifty years, Margie, predeceased him, as did her brother Donnie, for whom he was a selfless caretaker for many years. Frank spent the last year at The Willows Rehab and Nursing Center in Suffern, New York, where he was loved and respected as a favorite resident. He loved and respected the staff in return. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

According to his wishes, there will be no wake. The internment will take place at Saint Raymond's New Cemetery in the Bronx, 2600 Lafayette Avenue, Bronx, New York 10465. We will gather outside the office at 11:10 am.
