Frank S. Volin

Frank S. Volin, a cherished member of his community and a devoted servant in law enforcement, passed away on December 2, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on September 24, 1936, in Ozone Park, NY, Frank lived a life characterized by kindness and dedication to others.

As a proud army veteran, he served his country with honor before embarking on a career as a policeman for the NYC Police Department. Frank's commitment to protecting and serving his community was evident in his gentle demeanor and his caring approach to those around him. He was known not only for his professionalism but also for the compassion he extended to residents of the city he loved.

In pursuit of knowledge, Frank earned a Bachelor's degree, reflecting his belief in the importance of education and growth. His kind and caring personality left a lasting impression on all who crossed his path, making him a pillar of support and encouragement to family, friends, and colleagues alike.

Frank is survived by his dear twin sister, Catherine Volin, his beloved cousin, Debra Hatch, and his cherished nephew, Victor Volin. Frank is also survived by many extended family members. His family will always remember him as a gentle soul, who brought warmth and joy to their lives.

Visitation services will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY 11729. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Ss. Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church at 9:15 AM.

Frank's legacy of kindness and service will continue to inspire those who knew him, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of sharing in his life.
