Frank Brockway Whiting II passed away with his family by his side on March 10, 2026 at the age of 85 years. Frank, better known as "Brock" was born on September 8, 1940 in Neenah, WI to the late George and Julia Whiting. He graduated from Northwood School in Lake Placid, New York. The place where he learned to ski and chase girls. Brock enlisted in the Air Force where he learned about helicopter maintenance. Brock enjoyed traveling with his wife, Barbro Larsson, whom he met in Paris and then again in California. They were married on September 18, 1965 in Stockholm, Sweden. They shared many years united together until her death on March 10, 2012. He was 4th generation owner of the Geo. A. Whiting Paper company in Menasha; which was started by his great grandfather in 1882. He was an avid sailor and travelled the seas, once crossing the Atlantic Ocean from South Carolina to Spain in a small boat. Brock also enjoyed reading, golf, hunting and fishing. He spent many days building a small cabin in Tigerton, WI with close friends.

Brock is survived by his daughter, Kristina Whiting; his son, George Whiting III; his sister Penelope Jakubek; and his grandchildren Morgan Pfeffer, Elizabeth Whiting, and Frank Whiting III. He was proceeded in death by his wife Barbro Whiting; his parents George and Julia Whiting; sisters Julia Spacek, Karen Whiting, and Katherine Bojarski; and granddaughters Hope Whiting-Pfeffer and Kennedy Whiting-Pfeffer.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
